Lineage.  Established as 301 Airdrome Group on 15 Oct 1947.  Organized on 5 Nov 1947.  Discontinued on 1 Aug 1948.  Consolidated (1 Oct 1984) with 301 Air Base Group, which was established on 28 May 1948.  Activated on 1 Aug 1948.  Inactivated on 10 Feb 1951.  Activated on 1 Jun 1951.  Inactivated on 16 Jun 1952.  Redesignated as 301 Combat Support Group on 18 May 1971.  Activated on 1 Jul 1971.  Inactivated on 30 Sep 1979.  Redesignated as 301 Support Group on 1 Jan 1992.  Activated on 15 Jan 1992.  Inactivated on 1 Jun 1992.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Aug 1992.  Redesignated as 301 Mission Support Group on 1 Oct 2002.
