419 Force Support Squadron (AFRC)

Lineage.  Constituted as 419 Base Headquarters and Air Base Squadron on 21 Aug 1942.  Activated on 26 Aug 1942.  Disbanded on 1 Apr 1944.  Reconstituted, and redesignated as 419 Combat Support Squadron on 22 Feb 1982.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1982.  Redesignated as: 419 Mission Support Squadron on 1 Feb 1992; 419 Mission Support Flight on 1 Sep 2003; 419 Force Support Squadron on 15 Oct 2010.

Assignments.  Air Service Command, 26 Aug 1942; Army Air Forces Southeast Training Center, 2 Jan 1943; Second Air Force, 8 Mar 1943-1 Apr 1944.  419 Tactical Fighter (later, Fighter) Wing, 1 Oct 1982; 419 Support (later, Mission Support) Group, 1 Aug 1992-.
