Lineage.  Constituted as 386 Service Group on 15 Jul 1944.  Activated on 20 Jul 1944.  Redesignated 386 Air Service Group c. Nov 1944.  Inactivated on 25 Nov 1945.  Disestablished on 8 Oct 1948.  Reestablished, redesignated 386 Expeditionary Logistics Group, and converted to provisional status, on 25 Jul 2000.  Activated on 12 Aug 2002.  Redesignated 386 Expeditionary Maintenance Group on 1 Dec 2002.
